You can almost smell the hyacinths and roses in this painting! I love how it is bursting with life and the essence of spring. It was a lot of fun to paint, especially the hyacinths with their petals going in all directions.
INTERESTING FLOWER FACT: Hyacinths represent ‘games and sports’, whilst white roses represent ‘charm and innocence’.

OIL PAINTINGS:
All my oil paintings are left to dry for a minimum of six months and finished with Winsor & Newton satin varnish to lift the colours and protect the paintings.
FRAMING:
All my artworks are easy to frame. They are sold WITHOUT a frame to keep costs down and allow you to decide on what frame will look best in your home. However, some listings have an ‘add on’ feature where you can select a frame that has been custom made for that painting. An ‘add on’ frame IS AVAILABLE for this painting and the artwork will be attached unless otherwise requested.
PACKAGING:
Your artwork will be packaged securely and as eco-friendly as possible. I use acid free tissue paper to cover the paintings, place inside a water-tight plastic bag, then cover with paper bubble wrap or cardboard and send in a secure postal box. Click here to see more.
